Admission Rules

An official extract according to the type of the student&rsquos certificate:
1- A certificate, or an official extract, of successful completion of High School.
2- The UAE High School certificate ( General Stream / Advanced Stream):

    • Students of the General Track / Advanced Track are admitted directly with a minimum of 60% of the UAE General Secondary School in Maritime Transport major.
    • Students of the advanced track are admitted directly with a minimum of 60% in the UAE General Secondary School in Marine Engineering Technology major.
    • Students of General track are admitted with a minimum of 60% as a total of the General Secondary School certificate and a minimum of 90% in Mathematics subject and 90% in General Science subject in Marine Engineering Technology major. In addition, the student will study a preparatory course in physics in the first semester.
    • If the student wishes to complete his studies (5 years) to obtain a Bachelor of Marine Engineering, he must meet the minimum admission level in the College of Engineering and Technology (date of enrollment).

3- American Diploma: official accredited transcript of the tenth, eleventh and twelfth years with 12 years of schooling.
(SAT1 with score not less than 850 for College of International transport & Logistics / SAT1 with the same score + SAT2 with score not less than 900 for College of Maritime Transport & Technology)

4- IGCSE: Certificates of three years after the ninth grade,

Grades required:

Minimum Grade "C" is accepted for "O" Level subject
and grade "D" for advance and AS subjects.

 

Other foreign certificates:

A numerical evaluation is done according to evaluation rules in the Academy
